Our Story
We’ve loved every minute of our journey
Trotters 'n' Pooche was originally the title given by Jo to her final degree show at Blackburn College of Higher Education, where she gained a First Class BA Honours Degree in Contemporary Textiles in 2007.
Jo is committed to providing a high quality bespoke service for all her clients. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
About Jo Rothwell
Jo works from her garden studio at home in Lancashire on the edge of the Pennines. Much of her work is influenced by the surrounding moors and hills which can be often seen represented in her art work.
Jo originally worked as a Registered Sick Childrens Nurse at The Royal Bolton Hospital until the year 2000 when ill health finished her nursing career. This gave her the opportunity to retrain in her new chosen career as a Textile Artist.
As the saying goes 'every cloud has a silver lining!'
She has never looked back since and feels blessed that she is able to work using her natural talents and enjoys every minute.
